Seed Swap Builds Community
April 5, 2019
The Roimata Food Commons is an extraordinary local initiative being used to build connections and a sense of community by sharing plants and food grown at a local Park in Christchurch. For more on the Roimata food Commons see the following link: https://www.facebook.com/roimatafoodcommons.

For generations, the ancestral rock art of the Arowhenua people has been owned by others, with the land and limestone caves held in private ownership as part of a Gould family farm. Now after more than 170 years, Te Rūnanga o Arowhenua has purchased back the land and full access and ownership of their ancient taonga.
