If you have a spinal cord injury or impairment it is difficult to get through life without the risk of sustaining a pressure injury. These short videos highlight the causes and effects, sometimes devastating, of pressure injuries. We want to help you avoid getting one.
The content is based on international literature, recent ACC research and the lived experience of the participants in the videos. This is one of 12 video's released as a resource on World Spinal Cord Injury Day 5th September 2018, and is a collaborative work of BAIL and the NZ Spinal Trust funded by ACC of New Zealand.
