The Hero's Journey

 The path to gratitude

"We cannot cure the world of sorrows but we can choose to live with joy. The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are". Joseph Campbell's words have always been a personal catalyst encouraging me to dive wilfully into the unknown.
But the mono-myth surrounding the Hero's Journey is never about travelling alone. Along the way there are always others, those ready to inspire, help and guide, as you follow your path. The solo part of the journey lies within, recognising that we make the choices that help define our happiness. The bliss for me is understanding you're never alone, you are part of a greater world and shared humanity unified by compassion.
