Survivors says love is stronger than hate
On the fifth anniversary of the Massacre of 51 Muslims at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, survivor Farid Ahmed is delivering cakes to his neighbours. He's joined by U.S. Ambassador at large Rashad Hussain, promoting a simple concept, that love is more powerful than hate.
Farid makes a whistle stop tour of Nelson to speak with schools and community groups about Compassion and forgiveness. A survivor of the massacres at two Christchurch mosques in 2019, Farid is campaigning for March the 15th to be recognised as a day of compassion.
