How It Works

Pre Production

Every person and every story is different, which is why before the camera comes out we need to meet and discuss your story and your needs. You may want to focus on certain aspects of your life; you may want to involve others in telling the story, it may be a tribute for someone else. Together we’ll come up with a story style and structure, formulating questions that will help capture the essence of your story.

The Day of the Shoot

A day to relax and enjoy—seriously! This is when we sit down and have a talk about your story and life. Having chosen the best location for the interview we’ll rig lights, sound and camera and then sit you down and have a good old chat. Setting up the camera equipment normally takes half an hour, while the interview itself will take about 45 minutes to an hour. After the interview is over we will record any extra vision that’s required.

Post Production

This is where it all comes together: vision, interview and story line. Our aim is to create an authentic and meaningful story, the story you want to tell. That means getting the basics right; it’s about pace, structure and marrying words with vision.

The Finished Product

At the end of the editing process, you will have a professionally produced documentary style profile, tribute or story. You’ll also receive presentation dvd copies and the option of publishing your story on the internet for others to view.
